ERI’s proprietary glass-cleaning technology is a coveted problem solver, as the vast majority of the competing e-waste recyclers must outsource the recycling of glass. This spares ERI’s clients the need to ship glass to a specialty glass recycler.

You can rest assured that the glass you send to ERI is being properly managed and recycled; not stockpiled to be dealt with at a later date. ERI’s glass cleaning technology is your solution.

ERI’s proprietary glass-cleaning technology separates the panel glass from the funnel glass in a cathode ray tube (CRT) containing devices. All phosphors and other hazardous substances are cleaned from inside the tube and managed as necessary. The glass is then cut and cleaned and sent for remanufacturing.

ERI has made the significant investments in the necessary technology to further solidify our reputation as the Responsible Recycler. All glass is managed to the highest environmental standards.

ERI is the largest fully integrated Electronics & IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) provider and cybersecurity-focused hardware destruction company in the United States.
